Ammon Weser cast in 'Charlie Brown' at CSC

Ammon Weser of Provo is among the cast members starring in the Chadron State College theatre program's upcoming production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."

Six students will play the parts of the timeless characters created by Charles Schulz in his comic strip, "Peanuts." The play will run Oct. 6-9 in the Memorial Hall auditorium. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Weser, a music major, is playing the role of Charlie Brown in the production. This is his first play at CSC. He is the son of Jorg and Desiree Weser of Provo and a 2008 graduate of Timpview High School.

Roger Mays, the play's director, said the story is perfect for children and their parents, and no less ideal for college students.
