Ashton Rose among CSC scholarship recipients

Ashton Rose of Bayard, Neb., is one of many students who have been selected for scholarship assistance to attend Chadron State College this fall.

Rose, who will study business, has been awarded the full-tuition Board of Trustees Scholarship, the $1,000 Wiedenfeld Scholarship and the $250 Leadership Waiver. The Board of Trustees Scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and pays full tuition for four years, an approximate value of $18,100. The Wiedenfeld Scholarship is one of many awards made possible by generous donors to the Chadron State Foundation. Leadership Waivers help students pay for housing.

Rose will graduate from Bayard High School this spring. He is the son of Jim and Debbie Rose.
