Jacob Murphy among CSC scholarship recipients

Jacob Murphy of Harrison is one of many students who have been selected for scholarship assistance to attend Chadron State College this fall.

Murphy, who plans to study toward a bachelor's degree, has been awarded the Gold Presidential Scholarship and Quivey-Bay State Annual Scholarship. The Gold Presidential Scholarship, which is awarded based on academic merit, pays full tuition for four years, an approximate value of $17.300. The Quivey-Bay State Annual Scholarship is one of many awards made possible by generous donors to the Chadron State Foundation.

Murphy will graduate from Sioux County High School this spring. He is the son of Dennis and Sandy Murphy.
