Jake Palmer Among CSC Scholarship Recipients

Jake Palmer of Alliance, Neb., has been selected to receive scholarship assistance to attend Chadron State College this fall.

Palmer has been awarded full-tuition Board of Trustees Scholarship, the $590 Vern and Marjorie Rochek Scholarship, the $470 Abbott Foundation Scholarship and the $250 Leadership Waiver. The Board of Trustees Scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and pays full tuition for four years, an approximate value of $18,100. The Vern and Marjorie Rochek Scholarship and the Abbott Foundation Scholarship are two of the many awards made possible by generous donors to the Chadron State Foundation. Leadership Waivers help students pay for housing.

Palmer, who plans to study business, will graduate from Alliance High School in May. He is the son of Mark and Soni Palmer of Alliance.
