James De La Cerna named to CSC's dean's list

James De La Cerna of Thousand Oaks ( Westlake High School 2009 ) is one of 564 students who qualified for the academic honors lists at Chadron State College during the spring 2010 semester.

De La Cerna, who studies journalism, was named to the dean's list. A total of 225 students were named to the president's list, which requires straight A's. An additional 339 achieved the dean's list, which requires a grade-point average of at least 3.5. Students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours of coursework during the semester to qualify.

CSC, a member of the Nebraska State College System, offers more than 70 programs of study, eight master's degree programs, dozens of clubs and organizations, and many extracurricular activities. Many of the programs are available online. More information about CSC is available at www.csc.edu.
