Jamie Henry among CSC scholarship recipients

Jamie Henry of Torrington, Wyo., is one of many students who have been selected for scholarship assistance to attend Chadron State College this fall.

Henry, who will study psychology, has been awarded the full-tuition Gold Presidential Scholarship, the $1,000 Sophia Uhlkens Hodges Endowed Scholarship and the $250 Leadership Waiver. The Gold Presidential Scholarship, which is awarded based on academic merit, pays full tuition for four years, an approximate value of $18,100. Leadership Waivers help students pay for their housing. The Sophia Uhlkens Hodges Endowed Scholarship is one of many awards made possible by generous donors to the Chadron State Foundation.

Henry will graduate from Torrington High School this spring. She is the daughter of Wyoma Henry.
