Jayma Loghry cast in 'Charlie Brown' at CSC

Jayma Loghry of Sidney is among the cast members starring in the Chadron State College theatre program's upcoming production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."

Six students will play the parts of the timeless characters created by Charles Schulz in his comic strip, "Peanuts." The play will run Oct. 6-9 in the Memorial Hall auditorium. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Loghry, a sophomore majoring in theatre, is playing the role of Lucy in the production. This is her fourth play at CSC. She is the daughter of Anne Sterling and Doug Loghry, both of Sidney. She graduated from Sidney High School in 2010.

Roger Mays, the play's director, said the story is perfect for children and their parents, and no less ideal for college students.
