Joslynn VanDerslice among CSC scholarship recipients

Joslynn VanDerslice of Columbus, Neb., is one of many students who have been selected for scholarship assistance to attend Chadron State College this fall.

VanDerslice, who will study physical sciences, has been awarded the full-tuition Board of Trustees Scholarship and the $1,000 Sophia Uhlken Hodges Endowed Scholarship. The Board of Trustees Scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and pays full tuition for four years, an approximate value of $18,100. The Sophia Uhlken Hodges Scholarship is one of many awards made possible by generous donors to the Chadron State Foundation.

VanDerslice will graduate from Lakeview High School in May. She is the daughter of Ronda VanDerslice and the late David VanDerslice.
