Lisa Carter earns degree at Chadron State

Lisa Carter of Lewisburg, W.V., was among the graduates who earned degrees during Chadron State College's winter commencement exercises Friday, Dec. 16.

Carter graduated with a Master of Education degree in secondary curriculum and instruction.

A total of 165 degrees were conferred during the institution's two winter graduation ceremonies. This year's commencement exercises had special significance, marking the end of CSC's 14-month centennial observance. The diplomas of this winter's 103 bachelor's degrees and 62 master's degrees, as well as those of the May 2011 graduates, were decorated with the institution's centennial celebration symbol.
