Megan Dimmitt elected to Chadron State homecoming court

Megan Dimmitt of Alliance, Neb., was among the students receiving the most votes in the Chadron State College homecoming royalty competition. Dimmitt was crowned queen.

The contest, which is decided by an online vote of the student body, featured a total of 48 candidates – 25 for queen and 23 for king. The winners were announced during the spirit rally in Armstrong Gym on Thursday, Oct. 25.

Each CSC club or organization was eligible to submit one female and one male student for the competition.

Dimmitt, a senior majoring in criminal justice, was nominated by the Criminal Justice Club. She is the daughter of Brian and Susan Dimmitt.
