Nakia Erickson Among CSC Scholarship Recipients

Nakia Erickson of Broken Bow, Neb., has been selected to receive scholarship assistance to attend Chadron State College this fall.

Erickson has been awarded the full-tuition Rural Health Opportunities Program Waiver and the $1,000 EducationQuest Annual Scholarship. The RHOP waiver, which is renewable for four years, is awarded to RHOP selections studying pre-medicine or pre-dentistry. Its approximate value is $18,100. The EducationQuest Foundation Annual Scholarship was donated by EducationQuest, which has headquarters in Lincoln and provides free college planning services.

Erickson, who plans to study biology, will graduate from Broken Bow High School in May. She is the daughter of Mark and Misty Erickson of Broken Bow.
