Rebecca Volf among CSC scholarship recipients

2011 Apr 26

Rebecca Volf of Wood River is one of many students who have been selected for scholarship assistance to attend Chadron State College this fall.

Volf, who plans to study human biology and pre-medicine, has been awarded the Eagle Presidential Scholarship and Academic Achievement Award. The Eagle Presidential Scholarship, which is awarded based on academic merit, pays half tuition for four years, a total value of $8.652. The Academic Achievement Award, which is presented by the Chadron State Foundation, is a one-time cash award that recipients use for tuition, fees, room and board.

Volf will graduate from Wood River Rural High School this spring. She is the daughter of Michael and Penny Volf and Susan and Robert Mohler.

Many scholarship opportunities exist at CSC, which is a member of the Nebraska State College System. More information may be found by clicking on the "scholarships" link at CSC's Web site, www.csc.edu.
