Sarah Kingsbury elected to Chadron State homecoming court

Sarah Kingsbury of Winner, S.D., was among the students receiving the most votes in the Chadron State College homecoming royalty competition. Kingsbury was one of the top five vote-getters in the queen competition.

The contest, which is decided by an online vote of the student body, featured a total of 48 candidates – 25 for queen and 23 for king. The winners were announced during the spirit rally in Armstrong Gym on Thursday, Oct. 25.

Each CSC club or organization was eligible to submit one female and one male student for the competition.

Kingsbury, a senior majoring in psychology, was nominated by the Psychology Club. She is the daughter of Roger and Lori Kingsbury.
