2015 Mar 20

Kruger, a junior from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, hit .500 in the series against Fort Lewis College. She had six hits in twelve at bats, including two home runs. Kruger accumulated six RBIs in the series.

Simpson, a freshman from Lafayette, Georgia, placed second in the long jump at the NCAA National Indoor Championship, matching his school record 25-feet, 4 1/2-inches. He also placed sixth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.76 seconds. Only four other CSC athletes have ever placed in two individual events at a national meet, the last of which was Amanda Owens in 2007. Simpson's second place is the highest placing for an Eagle since head coach Brad Gamble won the heptathlon in 2011 and placed second in the decathlon.
