Willis Miller cast in 'Charlie Brown' at CSC

Willis Miller of Deer Trail is among the cast members starring in the Chadron State College theatre program's upcoming production of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."

Six students will play the parts of the timeless characters created by Charles Schulz in his comic strip, "Peanuts." The play will run Oct. 6-9 in the Memorial Hall auditorium. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Miller, senior majoring in theatre, is playing the role of Schroeder. This is his fourth production at CSC. He is the son of David Miller of Kiowa and Beth Swenson of Elbert. He graduated from Deer Trail High School in 2007.

Roger Mays, the play's director, said the story is perfect for children and their parents, and no less ideal for college students.
