Zachary Long Selected for Professional School

Zachary Long of Wayne, Neb., is among the health sciences students who have been selected to enter professional schools after completing studies at Chadron State College this spring.

Long, a participant of the Rural Health Opportunities Program, will enter the physical therapy program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha. RHOP is a joint venture with UNMC designed to provide health care professionals to lesser-populated areas of Nebraska.

A total of 24 CSC health professions students were selected by programs at various institutions this fall. The students were given special recognition during the annual Health Professions Honors Banquet on Wednesday, April 18, at the Student Center.
