Meet CSC Admissions Ambassador Allison Beard
Johnstown native runs track and studies business
Chadron, NE (02/13/2024) — CHADRON - Allison Beard of Johnstown, Colorado, is an Admissions Ambassador who provides tours for prospective students and their families when they visit the CSC campus.
She is a sophomore Business Administration major with a focus in Marketing. Some of her favorite classes, so far, have covered the topics of marketing, accounting, and management.
"These courses have improved my knowledge of the business environment and are setting me up for future success," she said.
In addition to her coursework and being an Admissions Ambassador, Beard runs the 200-meter dash and the 400-meter dash for the Chadron State Track and Field team.
"I also volunteer every week and help with the middle school and high school youth groups at my local church," she said.
Her favorite clubs on campus are Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)/Huddle and Night of Country Swing (NOCS).
"I have loved my time in Chadron and I am so thankful for the community and friends it has brought me," she said.
