Meet CSC Admissions Ambassador Olivia Trembly
Thornton native excels in college
Chadron, NE (02/13/2024) — CHADRON - Chadron State College senior Olivia Trembly of Thornton, Colorado, is an Admissions Ambassador who hosts prospective students and their families during their campus tours.
She plans to graduate from CSC in May with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a minor in Sports Leadership. She plans to use her fifth year of eligibility to continue playing on the women' basketball and pursue a master's degree in Organizational Management.
She plans to eventually become an athletic administrator.
"I love basketball and am extremely thankful CSC has given me the opportunity to play basketball at the collegiate level. I envision using my education to make a positive impact. As an athletic administrator, I hope to inspire my staff while providing a positive environment for all athletes," Trembly said.
In addition to competing in collegiate sports, Trembly has qualified for the Dean's list or the President's throughout her undergraduate career.
"While it is nice to receive rewards, it was more important to find classes I enjoyed. Enjoying what you do makes earning achievements much easier," she said.
She said her experiences at CSC have had a great impact on her goals.
"At CSC, I've been able to learn and find my passions. The best part of CSC is the people. The people I have met here have helped me to find and pursue my passions. From my peers, to professors, to admissions, they have all been beyond helpful and pushed me to find a field that complements my strengths," Trembly said.
